Our story began in 1967, when Dale Cole of Girard, Illinois proudly opened Cole’s Appliance Repair.
Dale was a hardworking husband, father, grandfather, and a man who took tremendous pride in his work. Through years of dedication, craftsmanship, and genuine care for his customers, he built a reputation that became bigger than a business—it became a name people trusted.
For Dale, doing the job right mattered.

Even after retirement, Dale never lost his passion for the work he loved. More importantly, he passed that passion, knowledge, work ethic, and pride down to his grandson, Tyler.

Today, Tyler proudly carries Dale’s legacy forward. Tyler is a 2024 graduate of Midwest Technical Institute in Springfield, Illinois, and a certified HVAC/R technician with training and certifications covering heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, heat pumps, indoor air quality, electrical systems, and gas heating.
Tyler brings modern technical training together with the values his grandfather spent a lifetime building his business around. While Cole’s carries the name and tradition Dale established in 1967, Tyler is also building a reputation of his own through dependable service, quality workmanship, honest pricing, and genuine care for every customer.
The years Tyler spent proudly standing beside Dale helped shape the kind of technician—and the kind of person—he is today. Dale passed down more than technical knowledge. He passed down honesty, responsibility, pride in your work, and a strong work ethic. Those values remain at the heart of Cole’s today.
